Access: Time > Time sheet > Time sheet validation
This function enables you to view the time and amount summary entered in the timesheets and identify if the data entry of the employees and the adjustments is completed.
It contains hyperlinks allowing the generation of hours from the schedule, the confirmation that the adjustments entry is completed and the modification of the adjustments.
Things to remember A legend with the definition of all the icons used in the timesheet is displayed at the bottom of the screen. |
1If there are more than one company within your business, select the Company and, if needed, the Filters and sort.
Tips and tricks To process a single employee’s timesheet, select the Employee no. All the actions made in this screen will apply only to the selected employee. |
2Under Week from yyyy/mm/dd through yyyy/mm/dd, click on the following hyperlinks:
▪Entered hours or Amounts: to view the details of the hours entered by the employee or his/her manager, or to enter hours (see Entering hours and blocking data entry);
▪Adjusted hours or Amounts: to view the hours generated by the time rules processing or the amounts entered using the Adjusted hours and amounts function or to enter adjustments (see Entering adjustments and confirming data entry).
Things to remember Only employees for whom the timesheet data is entered are displayed in the Time sheet validation (employees for whom the Employee with time sheet is checked, see Configuring the parameters in the employee file). ▪Note that timesheets of an employee that no longer issues them may be referred to. ▪Timesheets not filled by employees or not generated are identified by empty hours and/or amounts (and not 0.00). ▪If you checked Screens by company (see step 3, Configuring the Time management parameters ) and that the company’s payroll frequency is on a 26-pay period basis, Week 1 or Week 2 is identified in the Week from yyyy/mm/dd through yyyy/mm/dd title. |
