1Under Personal information, Residential address and Phone numbers, the mandatory fields must be filled in. If applicable, click on to add an alternate address.

3If applicable, modify the Employee status.
4The Remuneration type, should indicate "Rate by trade". This option is generated automatically when you check the CCQ Employee box, under Employment. Therefore the employee’s hourly rate will be generated according to the information entered below in the Construction section or, as the case may be, during payroll entry.
✓ See the CCQ Payroll data entry section.
5In Wages display format (reports), select "Rate only" so that only the hourly rate is displayed on reports and pay stubs.
6Enter the Date of rehire, which is the date the employee returns to work. It must be equal or subsequent to the employment date. It is used when generating a record of employment.
➢ If you enter a date in Seniority date, once it is saved, the Years of service will be displayed based on this calculation (current date minus seniority date).
7If applicable, select an Immediate supervisor.
8Under Construction, select the CCQ-specific information from each field’s drop-down list. Once this information is selected, the employee’s hourly rate under Remuneration is calculated and appears in gray (it cannot be modified).
Our application automatically updates employee hourly rates when the CCQ transmits their Table of salaries and benefits contribution rates and the Table of union contribution rates.
9Under Payment method, select the payment method for the employee’s pay.
–“Cheque” to issue a cheque;
–“Deposit” to make a direct deposit to an employee’s account;
–“Memo” to issue a pay stub only (no payment is made);
–“Cheque/Dep.” to pay a portion by direct deposit and another by cheque. |
10 If applicable, validate your employee’s bank account. If you selected “Deposit” or “Cheque/Dep.”, fill in the Transit, Institution, Account and Amount.
11 Click on Save. |
