Things to remember
A timesheet will be generated in the following situations and according to the following specifications:
▪If the employee status is active and the hiring or re-hiring date is anterior to or included in the current week.
▪If the last day paid of an employee (validated in the employment profile) with an Inactive, Terminated or Vacation status is included in the current week, the timesheet is generated up until this date. If the last day paid is posterior to the current week, a timesheet is generated for the week (if the departure date is anterior to the first day of the current week, no timesheet is generated
▪If a statutory holiday is present in the current week and is anterior to the last day paid, the statutory holiday hours will automatically be generated. If an employee’s last day paid is anterior to the start date of the current week, no hours are generated for the holiday. Note that the hours of the holiday are only generated if the required configuration is present and if the employee’s schedule is defined with work shifts indicating a number of worked hours per day.
▪The fixed earnings in the employee remuneration file will be generated if the fixed earnings correspond to the hour type to be generated and if the Allow hour input for fixed-earnings hour types parameter is checked (see Configuring the Time management parameters).
▪The hours will be generated at 0.00 for the employees without a schedule. If needed, the person responsible for your business will be able to block the data entry of these timesheets and enter adjustment transactions.
▪The hours will be generated at 0.00 for employees on holiday. If the last day paid (validated in the employment profile) of an employee with the “Holiday” status is included in the current week, the timesheet is generated until this date. If the last day paid is posterior to the current week, a timesheet is generated for the week. If the last day paid is anterior to the start date of the current week, a timesheet at 0.00 is generated. If needed, the person responsible for your business will be able to block the data entry of these timesheets and enter adjustment transactions.
▪The hours will be generated at 0.00 for the employees whom have received vacation pay for the current week, if the parameter Generate a time sheet at 0.00 for employees with vacation paid in advance is checked (see Configuring the Time management parameters). |
