Access: Configuration > Job numbers > Segment configuration
1Check the Segment the job number box to enable the use of the segmented job number.
▪Job number configuration by segment modifies the job number display in the filters of many screens as well as in the Human resources and Payroll menu functions.
▪Note that only authorized users can use this function.
▪If you want to uncheck the Segment the job number box, please contact us by submitting a request in the Contact us function (
> Contact us).
2Select the desired number of segments (a maximum of six) from the Number of segments used drop-down list.
The number of segments selected determines the number of lines displayed for label entry and segment description.
3Enter the segment labels and descriptions.
▪The labels are, by default, JOB#1 to JOB#6. You can change them at your convenience. However, each segment must be different (no segment label can be identical to another).
A label may contain up to five characters (a job number may contain up to 30 characters). The descriptions may contain up to 50 alphanumerical characters.
▪At least one label and one description must be entered for the same segment (the same line).
After saving, the system will automatically copy the entered label and description to the empty fields. If you do not wish to copy the labels, you can enter N/A (not applicable) or any other inscription of your choice.
4The Validate the segments in the entry screen box is checked by default. If you uncheck the box, the application will no longer validate the segments entered in the different screens.
5Click on Save and close your work session to complete the procedure.
