Configuring a punch clock

Access: Configuration > Time > Time clocks

1Click on Create a time clock.

2In the Time clock definition screen, enter a Punch code.

3Select the device Format.
If you use the ZKTECO time clock, additional fields will be displayed. Click hmtoggle_plus1 here to display the required steps. Otherwise, go to the next step.

a)Enter the Serial number.
When a time clock is added, Synchronization time shows 00.00.
Synchronization time is then initialized by the payroll application.
It matches the time of the automatic transmission of employee file updates to the time clock.

b)Select the Time zone.
The time on the time clock is validated every hour in order to correspond to the time on our network taking into account time-zone differences, according to the time zone in which the time clock is located. If there is a time change in our network, the time on the time clock is updated automatically.

4Enter a French description or an English description.

5Under Time clock key association, associate a key with the punch type by entering a number in the field in the Key column associated with the desired type.

6Click on Save to complete the procedure.

7Repeat this procedure as needed to add and define other punch types.
