Deleting a user

Access: User management > User profile > User profile

1If you have not selected a user yet, the application will bring you to the User list screen to select one.

2Click on Delete.

3Verify the information on the screen and click on OK.

Things to remember

Deleting a user is impossible if that user is the sole recipient of a mandatory trigger event with no default recipient. You will have to add another recipient before carrying out the deletion. To do this, modify the Business notification rules (Configuration > Communications > Business notification rules).

Deleting a user is impossible if that user is an approver (including exceptional or delegated approvers) of an active employee request (Human resources > Requests management > Requests). You will have to delegate another approver before carrying out the deletion (Configuration > Communications > Requests > Delegation management).

It is possible to configure your company file to automatically deactivate and delete a user from Self-service (Configuration > Pay > Basic parameters per company > Payroll configuration). Refer to the Configuring automatic deactivation of a self-service user procedure.
