Creating the statutory holidays calendar

Access: Configuration > Time > Time management > Statutory holiday calendar

The Statutory holiday calendar function displays the list of calendars. It allows the creation of a default calendar for the business, calendars by province and calendars by group of employees.

Things to remember

If you are using the Requests management and configure the statutory holiday calendar, your employees will see an asterisk beside the day of absence corresponding to a statutory holiday.

1Under Calendar list, click on Create a calendar.

2Enter a French description and an English description.

3To create a default calendar, check Default calendar.

If an employee is not associated to a calendar, the default calendar is used for processing (schedule display, rules calculation). To associate a calendar to an employee, see Configuring the parameters in the employee file.

4If your company has more than one province, select a Province to create a statutory holiday calendar associated to a pay province.

If you associate a calendar to a pay province, it will be used for all the employees of that province.

5Under Holiday list, click on Add.

6Enter the statutory holiday Date or select one by clicking on .

7Select “Add” in the Description. Enter a French and an English description, then click on OK.

8Click on Save to complete the procedure.
