Access: Configuration > Pay > Basic parameters per company > Pay code matrix
This screen presents the matrices. It allows for the identification of the earnings and deductions taken into account notably for the calculation of vacations, union deductions and taxable benefits. The inclusion or exclusion of an earning or deduction is specified by a Y (yes) or by a N (no).
To view the matrices:
1Under Filters, select a company if needed.
2Click on Refresh.
3Under Pay code matrix list, click on the Download hyperlink to view the pay code matrix data.
If you have more than one company, the pay code matrix file will display one company pay code matrix per tab.
Things to remember ▪Deductions on earnings: enables you to view the deductions applied on each earning, for example, the governmental deductions (QPP, income taxes, etc.) that are deducted from the earning. To do so, position your cursor on the line of the earning in the 1st column, then using the scroll bar at the bottom of the file, verify the value listed under each deduction. . ▪Earnings on earnings: enables you to view the earnings applied on each earning, for example, on which earnings holidays and statutory holidays are calculated. To do so, position your cursor on the chosen column then verify the value listed under each earning line (the first two columns). ▪Deductions on deductions: enables you to view the deductions applied on each deduction, for example, governmental deductions (QPP, taxes, etc.), deductions on the support payment deduction (net garnishment in percentage). To do so, position your cursor on the chosen column then verify the value listed on each deduction line. |
