It is possible to configure an employee’s Employment and compensation profile in order to automatically generate hours in their timesheet.
1Under Position, fill out the Number of hours per day and Number of days per week.
2Click on Save to register the changes.
Important The application will select the configuration of your file, according to the following order: ▪Work schedule: a work schedule in which work shifts indicate the hours worked (see Configuring the parameters in the employee file) is assigned to the employee (see Configuring the parameters in the employee file). Note that if the work schedule attributed to the employee does not have a work shift nor worked hours, a timesheet at 0.00 could be generated for the employee according to their employee status. ▪Team: the employee is associated to a team (see Associating an employee to a team) where there is a schedule and where work shifts indicate the hours worked (see step 7 of Defining the work schedules). Note that if the work schedule attributed to the team does not have a work shift nor worked hours, a timesheet at 0.00 could be generated for the employee according to their employee status. ▪No Work schedule: if no work schedule is associated to the employee, the data present in Number of hours per day and Number of days per week will be taken into account when generating the hours in the timesheet. ▪If none of these three configurations are present, a timesheet at 0.00 could be generated for the employee according to their employee status. |
