1Under Requests management, click on:

⇨ Absences, to activate Absence requests management.

⇨ General to activate General requests management.

2Click on Save and quit the application to activate the function.

You can now:

1- Define requests management settings

2- Define exception approvers

If you deactivate this option, all data related to requests will be lost. If you wish to proceed, it is recommended to generate a request report first.

1Under Requests management, click on:

⇨ Absences to deactivate Absence requests management.

⇨ General to deactivate General requests management.

2Click on Save.

3In the warning message window, click on Deactivate to confirm the deactivation.

✓ Define earning codes associated with the absence in the Absence types screen (Configuration > Requests), then Creating/Modifying/Deleting an absence type to allow employees to choose the earning associated with the absence when making their request.

✓ Define the regular earning that will be deducted by the absence hours processed in the payroll at the Payroll configuration screen (Configuration > Pay), then identify the regular earning deducted by the absence requests.

✓ When making an absence request, the bank balance is displayed in the selection table only if the banks displayed in the attendance summary parameter is checked off on the Leaves and absences calendar legend screen (Configuration > Pay > Basic parameters per company > Banks and leaves).

If you have activated the Absences parameter, you must consider the following points:

oActivate the Available for absence requests indicator in the Hour type definition screen (Time > Hour types for time sheets) to allow employees to choose the absence hour type for their request.

oIn the absence request details, the hours are displayed in hundredths or in minutes, depending on the Hour input parameter on the Time management parameters screen (Configuration > Time > Time management).
