Role and Responsibilities of an Application Manager

This guide will help you understand the role and responsibilities of the application manager (AM) within our payroll application.

Since this role is essential to running your payroll smoothly, we’re here to support you and streamline your processes.

 The AM is the sole individual designated by your company to manage and secure access to our payroll application.

 They hold the highest level of authorization in the payroll application, making them responsible for managing users and protecting company data.

 Their role and responsibilities remain in effect until your company revokes or withdraws these rights and privileges.

What is the AM’s role?

The AM is the designated primary contact for managing user access.

In this capacity, they:

manage user access by creating, modifying, deactivating, or deleting user codes, including API user codes where applicable;

assign or remove roles (such as the contact person role) and permissions within the application;

monitor security-related activities;

receive and review alerts sent by our payroll service;

ensure that only authorized individuals have access to payroll data.
