1Select search filters and criteria.
▪The Hours added to worked hours filter is only displayed if the calculation type is “Worked hours,” which makes it possible to add to the number of worked hours up to the last pay period end date in order to determine the number of worked hours up to the end of the current pay period. In this way, you will have the list of employees who will reach the expected number of worked hours in the salary scale for the current pay period.
▪The Calculation date filter makes it possible to enter a date for all calculation types with the term “month.” The date must be prior to or the same as the company’s current pay period end date.

2Specify the Employees sort order.
3Under Information to modify, select a Salary change date by clicking on .
▪If a date is indicated, it will be displayed by default for all employees affected by the mass modification.
▪If there is no date, the system uses the current pay period start date.
4Under Modification history, you can select a modification reason that will be displayed in the Modifications to the employee file history (Employee file > History).
5Important: Click on Batch simulation as a first step. If you have previously made modifications by page, you will lose them.
6Click on one of the following buttons:
▪Modify by page: to display the modifications list of the selected employee group.
▪Batch simulation: to verify the data and the list of selected employees before doing a mass modification of the salary progression. A report is produced including the rejections and the associated error messages, where applicable.
▪Batch save: to directly carry out a mass modification of the salary scale progression. A report is produced making it possible to view the rejections and the associated error messages, where applicable.
Modify by page:
7a | If required, modify the data by employee. |
▪To exclude employees from a mass modification, simply uncheck the box in front of each employee in question.
7b | Click on Save to save the changes and to continue with the process. |
▪If there is an error, the icon will be displayed to the far left of the employee’s line. Move the mouse over the icon to display the error message. If you wish to continue saving the page, uncheck the employee from the list.
Batch simulation :
8a | Click on Batch simulation. |
8b | In the Mass modifications results screen, select the "Simulation" report type, by clicking on the Salary progression hyperlink. |
8c | If you are satisfied with the result, click on . In the displayed window, click on Recover these criteria for a new mass update to carry out a batch save. |
Batch save :
9a | Click on Modify by page. |
9b | In the confirmation window, click on OK. |
9c | In the Mass modifications results screen, select the “Execution” report type by clicking on the Salary progression hyperlink. |
Things to remember If a salary scale modification results in a salary regression for an employee, it will be displayed as an exception in the “Employee mass modification” report. A manual follow-up in the employee file is recommended. |
