avertissemnt jaune Please note that employer contributions are calculated automatiquely following the entry of the employees' year-to-date amounts.

Steps to follow

1Enter remittance totals in the corresponding boxes.

avertissemnt jaune The system will make the calculation and determine any difference between amounts entered in Step 2: Enter year-to-date amounts and those entered in this screen.

2Manage the discrepancies if necessary.

When there is a discrepancy, you have two options:

a)Verify the information entered and adjust amounts accordingly to balance the totals.

b)Justify the discrepancy.

To justify the discrepancy, click on the drop-down list from the Reason column and select the appropriate reason.

To learn more on the available reason choices, refer to the Justification table.

3Click on Save to save changes.

avertissemnt jaune Attention : Once the third step has been completed, it will not be possible to make changes. If you notice an error after clicking Approve, contact your integration officer promptly.

4When you are finished (i.e., when all the year-to-date amounts and remittances have been entered, when all the amounts balance and/or when the necessary justifications* have been made), click on Approve.

5Once approved, your integration agent will be able to synchronize the information you have entered and you will then be able to see the data in your employees' records.

* For Québec, the table does not balance the CNESST remittance. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a justification.

Things to remember

Please note that the Integrate YTD and remittances function will no longer appear in the Payroll menu as soon as you will have approved the data entry.

The data entered in this function will be available for a period of two (2) years in Excel files. These files can be downloaded from the employee YTD history.

Access: Employee File > YTD tab > Integration of the company’s year-to-date amounts and remittances section.
