Things to remember

⇨  Non-compliant employee data does not prevent the transmission of the final report or the payment to the CCQ.

⇨  Non-compliant employee data does prevent the validation of employee contributions calculated in payroll against those calculated by the CCQ for the affected employees. As a result, discrepancies may not be detected.

⇨  When processing the simulation report, if non-compliant employee data is detected, it is important to correct it promptly so that the contribution validation for that employee can occur during the next simulation report of the current month.

⇨  If corrections are not made within the required deadlines refer to the calendar (Docum >Documentation > Reference calendars) and the Final report contains non-compliant employee file data, you will  need to enter the employee’s information directly on the CCQ website, and update the employee’s file in the payroll solution.

⇨  Error messages come from the CCQ and are provided in French only.

Explanation: A mismatch was detected between the CCQ website and the payroll application for the combination of Trade, Sector, Appendix, and Apprenticeship period. Validate the incompatible value listed in message E90.

2Correct any incorrect information either in the payroll solution (Employee file > Profile > Employment and compensation) or directly on the CCQ website, depending on the case.

Explanation: An unauthorized value was detected in the employee’s file. Please verify the unauthorized value indicated in message E90.

2Verify the total paid hours in the most recent Payroll record (Reports > Payroll results > Payroll reports (PDF)).

3Verify the earnings codes used in the employee file (Employee file > Profile > Employment and compensation).

Explanation: The total number of hours paid is non-compliant. Please verify the type of non-permitted hours indicated in message E90.

Action required:

1Validating the allocation of costs in the employee file could help determine the best way to make corrections (Employee file > Profile > Percentage distribution). Validate the distribution codes report.  

2Validate the total number of hours paid in the latest Payroll record (Reports > Payroll results > Payroll reports (PDF)).  

3Validate the earnings codes used in the employee’s file (Employee file > Profile > Employment and compensation).  

4Contact our customer service department to make the necessary corrections.

Explanation: The total hours are not compliant according to CCQ rules for specific employee statuses.

Action required:

1Contact the CCQ to confirm which hour rules apply to the employee.

2Validate the totals in the most recent payroll record (Reports > Payroll results > Payroll reports (PDF)).

3Make the corrections required to meet the minimum or maximum hours allowed for the employee’s status.

Explanation: The conditions for using a specific employment status are not met.

Explanation: The simple, time-and-a-half, and double-time hour rules for the employee’s status are not respected.

3Correct the hours.

Explanation: The salary entered exceeds the maximum value allowed by the CCQ (99,999.99).

Action required:

1Validate and correct the salary in the employee file (Employee file > Profile > Employment and compensation).

2Validate the transactions in the most recent payroll record (Reports > Payroll results > Payroll reports (PDF)).

3Make the necessary adjustments in payroll.

hmtoggle_plus1E90 Nombre de semaines incohérentes

Explanation: The value corresponding to the number of weeks declared for a worker must be different from “0” and must be consistent with the other information submitted to the CCQ, including:

⇨ the employment start and end dates;

⇨ the number of hours declared;

⇨ the period covered by the monthly report.

Action required:

This message is displayed when the earnings code used is not included in the report. To correct the affected employee’s record, please contact our Customer Service team.
