Access: Payroll > Validate and process payroll > Manage payroll approval requests > Date hyperlink
This screen is intended for payroll approvers. It allows approvers to view and approve all payroll requests submitted for the companies they are authorized to access.
1As a payroll approver, you will receive a notification (email or SMS) when a payroll requires approval.
2You can access this screen in two ways: via the Payroll menu or by clicking on the Request icon on the home page. Click on the request card or use the Manage payroll approval link.
3Apply filters as needed to target specific requests and click Refresh.
▪A table displays detailed information for each payroll submission.
4Click the hyperlink under the company date to view the details. You will be directed to the Payroll processing approval screen.
5Confirm the accuracy of the payroll period and company listed in the header.
6Verify the data in the preview of the Payroll record and Agencies remittances reports by simply clicking the report titre to display it.
▪The top bar contains useful tools. The content varies depending on the browser used.
▪Click the Return button to go back to the Manage payroll approval requests.
7Based on your review, approve or reject the payroll.
Be sure to meet the deadline. If the deadline is not met, standard consequences will apply (e.g., delayed payment date). |
Approval payroll ✓The request status changes to Approved. ✓A confirmation email is sent to the company’s payroll manager. ✓Payroll processing is triggered. ✓End of approval process. |
Rejected payroll ✓A Reasons for rejection window appears allowing you to include an explanation regarding your decision (mandatory). ✓The request status changes to Rejected. ✓An email is sent to the payroll manager, and the payroll status reverts to In progress to allow data corrections. ✓Payroll processing must then be resubmitted. ✓The approval process restarts. |
