Taxable benefit: Amount added to the base salary as indirect remuneration. A benefit (not payable amount) or an allocation (payable amount) may be subject to governmental deductions (EI, QPP, QPIP, HSF, etc…) according to fiscal rules. Examples of a taxable benefit: Allocation for automobile fees, meals, room and board, life insurance, etc.

Reduction of tax deductions: Amount established by the fiscal legislation allowing an employee to reduce his taxes. The employee must agree with this amount by filling out the authorization forms when hired (personal tax credit amount, for example).

Temporary (Employee type): Employee type which identifies not permanent employment (irregular schedule or on call).

Terminated (Employee type): Employee status for an employee who is no longer employed by your company. The employee’s file is closed.
