Access: Employee file > Tools > Importing employment data
Clearview: To correct errors after Clearview file import, click here, otherwise continue to Step 1.
Gestion des messages d’erreurs Following import, the file may be rejected if our application was not able to convert the data it contains. The message “To import, errors must first be corrected from your Clearview application.” will appear at the top of your screen. At this moment, an error field explanatory list will appear at the bottom of the screen, indicating which fields must be corrected:
If you require additional information, please refer to the Conversion and correspondences table. You must then go back in your Clearview application to correct the errors listed and generate a new import file. 1Click on Cancel import. 2Correct the errors directly in your Clearview application. 3Generate a new import file. 4Import the new Clearview HR data file.

1Click on Correct.
2Access errors (identified in red) directly in the screen or by clicking on the error message on top of the screen in order to position your cursor on the erroneous line.
▪All the fields of the import file, empty or not, are displayed in the screen.
3Enter all new data and then click on Save/Next. The datum will be saved and the next error displayed.
4Click on Ignore to proceed to the next one, if needed.
5Once all errors are corrected, the Importing employment data screen is displayed with an update of the Summary section. Click on Import.
▪If all you data are imported without error, a message will be displayed and your data will be available.
6If other errors are identified, please start the procedure over.
7If you ignored one or more errors, a window will be displayed requesting that you confirm the import, as the data in error will not be processed. To do so, click on the icon in the heading of the list of messages. The Produce report window opens. From drop-down lists, select the report language and format, and the page format.
▪The Correct button will remain available to correct ignored errors.
