Viewing insurance coverage

The Coverage function allows you to view the list of coverage available for your business.

Access: Configuration > Business > Group insurance > Insurance coverage

Under Detailed coverage, view the protection details.

Tips and tricks

Sort the list by clicking on the hyperlinks in the column headers.

 

Things to remember

Definition of fields:

Coverage: Displays the payroll earnings and deductions for the coverage and its description.

Alpha code (alphabetic): Identifies the coverage. Each coverage has a code and the most frequently used are:

oAVB (life insurance)

oDMA (Death or accidental dismemberment)

oPAC (Dependant)

oILD (Long-term disability)

oMED (Medications)

oDENT (Dental)

Prerequisite coverage: Specifies if the employee must have another protection code in order to be eligible for this coverage.

Plan: Identifies the plan. A plan corresponds to a series of coverage by employee category with different protections and maximums or different premium rates.

Sequence: Defines the order in which the premium and the taxable benefit are calculated (when the cost is shared).

Company: Identifies the company to which the coverage applies.
