Choosing a print option for income tax slips

Access: Reports > Annual reports > Income tax slip production options

1Under Company selection, select the Company, if needed.  

2Under Print option selection, check:

Digital Only (PDF). All employee tax slips will be produced in PDF format. You can make them available at any time, via the Self-service solution or print and remit paper copies to those who request this format or who do not have the Self-service.

Hybrid. Tax slips will be produced in PDF format, except for employees who do not have access to the Self-service solution or have an "Inactive" or "Terminated" status, in which case the slips will be printed, placed in envelopes, and delivered (delivery charges apply) to your attention so that you can remit them in person. .

Paper (Printed). All tax slips will be printed, put in envelopes, and delivered (delivery charges apply) to your attention so that you can remit them to your employees in person.  

3Click on Save to complete the procedure.

Important

You might have to obtain a prior authorization from your employees to offer an electronic version of the tax slips only. Under the law, an employee’s written consent to receive their income tax slips in electronic format only is required if the employee’s status is inactive at the time of tax slips production.

Without the employee's written consent, you remain responsible for providing them with two (2) hard copies of their income tax slips, and this, for any other employee who requests them.

 

Tips and tricks

Click on the History button to display a window with the modification history. This window includes any modifications to the print options for all companies in the business and all users or our customer service.
