Modifying an employee number

Access: Employee file > Tools > Employee number modification

1If your business covers more than one company, select the Company.

2Click on Continue.

3Click on Adding an employee number modification.

4In the Entering employee number window, enter the Previous employee number and the New employee number.

The same employee number may not be used more than once in the list of changes.

5Click on OK.

Things to remember

Yes appears under the Employees terminated in prior years field when an employee was terminated in the previous years.

The quantity of employee number change is unlimited.

 

Tips and tricks

You can delete a change entered for a single employee by clicking the RemoveItem icon.

Click on Cancel to delete all the modifications.

6Under Modification History, enter the reason of the modification, if needed.

7Verify the information and print the changes from this screen (if required, for your follow ups)

8Click on Execute.

9A window will pop up confirming the modifications. Click on OK.

Things to remember

The employee number update that you complete in the payroll application is simultaneous. The new employee numbers will be transferred in our IT application once your pay is submitted.
