Approving punch data and generating timesheets

Access: Time >Time summary

1Under Filters, in Week starting, enter the date (yyyy/mm/dd) corresponding to the first day of the week for which you wish to generate timesheets.

2Click on Refresh.

Things to remember

If an employee's timesheet needs to be processed, 0.00 is displayed.

If there is no timesheet for an employee in the current week (no punch, no exception, no note, and no other type of transaction), the Total hours per day and the Total hours for the week are blank. A hyperlink on these fields allows you to access the Adjusted punch data screen.

3Click on Confirm time clock entry (generates time sheets), located at the bottom of the screen to complete the procedure.

Things to remember

The status of the punch data is now “Completed” and no further modifications to the adjusted data is permitted for the confirmed. The Approuvé icon confirms that the punch data has been approved and that the time sheets have been generated.

To cancel the confirmation, click on Cancel time clock entry confirmation (deletes time sheet).

 

Important

If you cancel the time clock entry confirmation, the timesheets generated will be destroyed.
